Chapter Summary

This chapter was devoted to a very important topic, both on the exam and in the fieldprinting. As a system administrator, you will spend a lot of your time planning for, configuring, and troubleshooting printers, and the exam reflects this.

In this chapter you learned the Microsoft terminology for printing and how the process flows. You also learned how to install printers, both local and network, and how to share printers so that others can use them.

We also looked at installing an updated driver, and briefly covered working with print clients from non-Windows environments.
