ldifde

Ldifde is short for LDIF Directory Exchange. The ldifde utility can be used to import, export, modify, and delete records in an LDAP-based directory.

A Windows Server 2003 utility used to configure and manage the license of Windows Server 2003 and installed applications.



load balancing

This feature allows you to setup a group of servers running identical applications. All of the servers share a virtual address, so the user will be connected to any server that's available. If a server is removed from the load-balanced group, either for maintenance or because of a failure, the incoming connections are rebalanced over the remaining servers in the group.



local policies

Local Computer Policies are used to control the security of the local computer. The policies that will affect the local computer and its users are stored in the \%systemroot%\system32\GroupPolicy folder.
