Chapter 14. Using Non-Flash Graphics

14. Using Non-Flash Graphics

With the addition of Object Drawing mode in version 8, Flash's set of drawing tools has new flexibility for graphic artists who are familiar with the vector-based tools in other graphics programs. Still, you don't have to abandon all other sources of graphic material. You may already be using another vector graphics programMacromedia FreeHand or Adobe Illustrator, for exampleand you may feel more comfortable with its tools or want to take advantage of advanced features it offers. You may want to include scanned photos or other bitmaps in your Flash document, or use a body of artwork that you created outside Flash. Don't despair; you can import those graphics into Flash.
