WinZip is probably the single handiest and most used tool loaded on our computers. When we need to transfer files to a customer or request files be sent to us, we typically have the files compressed ( zipped ) before the transfer begins. This simple process saves transmission time and space on our drives . You are probably familiar with the fact that WinZip is used to compress and decompress the files. We also use it to create self-extracting ZIP files so our technically challenged customers do not need to understand the decompression process on files we send to them.
