Appendix A. VMS and CSA MC 4.5 Installation

A major component in the Cisco Security Agent (CSA) architecture is the CSA Management Console (MC). This component is where all policy configuration tasks take place and where the events and database can be stored. Previous versions of the CSA MC required all pieces of the MC to be installed on the same server, but in CSA 4.5 the MC components can be separated onto either two or three servers if necessary to provide greater scalability and redundancy.
