Chapter 9

In Chapter 8, I demonstrated how you can use the Spreadsheet component as a sophisticated data-entry form in the Timesheet solution. In this chapter, I will demonstrate how you can use the Spreadsheet component for its more elemental service: the recalculation engine. The Loan Calculation solution described in this chapter uses the Spreadsheet component in a Microsoft Active Server Pages script to recalculate an existing spreadsheet model based on inputs and then display the results to the client browser as static HTML or an interactive Spreadsheet control.
