Chapter 9. Adding Other Page Elements and Special Effects

This chapter is a little different from the previous chapters in this section, in that it doesn't present complete templates. Instead, it focuses on a variety of specific page elements and special effects that you can add to your auction listingslinks to your other auctions, shipping calculators, specification tables, and so on. These elements and effects can be added to any auction template.

To add these elements and effects to your auction template, simply copy the code as written into your existing template code, typically at the place in the template where you want the element or effect to appear. In most cases you'll have some customization to do (such as inserting specific URLs), but it's pretty easy stuff. And, to make it even easier, all of these special effects are included on the accompanying CD. Just cut, paste, and edit, and you're ready to go.
