Using Downloadable Auction Templates

Online HTML code generators are great, but what if you don't want to go to somebody else's website to design your eBay auction listings? If you prefer to work within the comfort and safety of your own computer desktop, consider using a downloadable auction template. These templates feature predesigned color schemes and layouts; you have only to open them in any text editor program (such as Windows Notepad or WordPad) to insert your own auction information, and then copy the final code into your eBay item listing.

Alou Web Design (www.alouwebdesign.ca/free-ebay-templates.htm) offers 20 templates you can download for free from its website. These are nice-looking but relatively simple templates; the main difference between the themes is the color scheme and border image.

AuctionSupplies.com Free Auction Templates

The folks at AuctionSupplies.com (www.auctionsupplies.com/templates/) offer a handful of free downloadable templates. Most of these templates come in variations based on number and layout of product photos.

Auction Template Central

Auction Template Center (www.auctiontemplatecentral.com) offers more than a hundred different downloadable auction templates, all in the country (or "primitive," as they call it) style. Most templates sell for $15.00 apiece.

AuctionWraps

AuctionWraps (www.auctionwraps.com) offers 75 or so downloadable auction templates, including one for each Major League Baseball team. You get access to all their templates for $7.97 per month.

DeSa C.S. Auction Templates

DeSa C.S. (www.desacs.com) offers a variety of auction templates for sale, as well as a few sample templates, for free download. Templates are organized into sets of 15, which sell for $5 per set.
