Appendix II. OpenOffice.org Resources

The main OpenOffice.org Web site is, of course, www.openoffice.org. That's where you get the latest OOo downloads and information.

http://documentation.openoffice.org is the official source of OOo documentation and advice.

Excellent (free) OOo help and advice are available at www.oooforum.org.

www.kaaredyret.dk/openoffice.html is a privately maintained collection of OOo training materials and other information.

www.ooomacros.org is all about OOo macroshow to use them and how to create them.

A book that takes you deeper into OOo is OpenOffice.org 2.x Resource Kit by Solveig Haugland and Floyd Jones (ISBN 013148205X, published by Prentice Hall Professional Technical Reference).

The best place to go for help with an OOo problem, whether it's a simple "How do I . . . ?" question or a major frazzle that's driving you up the wall, is http://support.openoffice.org. This Web site also has links to many other OOo resources, including a worldwide list of commercial OOo training and support providers.
