Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. -
In Control Panel, double-click the Mail icon. -
On the Server Type page, select the type of server to which you are connecting, and then click Next. -
On the Internet E-mail Settings page, enter the user information for the account you're setting up, click Next, and then click Finish. -
To set up a new e-mail account or change an existing account, click E-mail Accounts. -
To change the location in which Outlook stores your data files, click Data Files. -
To set up multiple user profiles or change an existing profile, click Show Profiles. -

On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts. -
Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts option, and click Next. -
Click your e-mail account, and then click the Change button. -
Click the More Settings button. -
In the dialog box that appears, click the Connection tab, and select the Connect using my phone line option. -
In the Modem area, click the Add button. -
On the Type of Connection page of the wizard, select the Dial-up to private network option, and click Next. -
On the Phone Number to Dial page, type the phone number of your ISP in the Phone Number box. -
If appropriate to your situation, select the smart card option you want, and then click Next. -
In the Type a name you want for this connection box, type a meaningful name for the connection you are creating (For example, Company Dial-Up Connection), and click Finish. -
In the Use the following Dial-up Networking connection list, click the connection you just created, and then click OK. -
In the E-mail Accounts Wizard, click Next, and then click Finish. |

Click the Disable Offline Use button, and then click Yes. -
Click the Offline Folder File Settings button again, and then click the Browse button. -
Click the down arrow to the right of the Look in box, and then navigate to the folder you want to use. -
Click OK. If Outlook prompts you to create the outlook.ost file, click Yes. |
