Semantics Service

Semantics Service

The Semantics interface is used to transform the language, script, encoding, or classification of a name expression, to convert unstructured address expressions into a computationally useful form (parse), or to generate a natural address expression from a structured computational form (generate).

The Semantics service has three functions:

Function Description Parameter Schema Location
Parse Schema requests conversion of unstructured text describing addresses or other location information that is defined relative to elements modeling geographical entities such as roads, buildings, or other points of interest. http://www.MAGICServicesForum.org/Registry/Schemas/Parse_Request_t/Base.xsd/
Schema defines the form of the returned response with the requested information. http://www.MAGICServicesForum.org/Registry/Schemas/Parse_Response_t/Base.xsd/
