The Wingtip Toys company has hired you to administer its Web site, which is located on an unswitched Ethernet LAN. In the past users have often had trouble accessing the company’s Web site. You want to determine the network cost per user. You plan to do this by first determining the cost per operation. You decide to start with the Add Item operation.

Table 7.10 provides the parameters you should use when calculating Web usage.
