Chapter 4 -- Planning a Microsoft Windows 2000 Administrative Structure

Chapter 4

About This Chapter

The network users whom you designate as administrators will have additional privileges on the network. You must make sure that your security design determines which users need to be members of the administrative groups. Your security plan must include a process for verifying that only authorized users are members of the administrative groups. It must also provide steps to remove unauthorized accounts from the administrative groups.

Before You Begin

To complete this chapter, you must read the chapter scenario. This scenario is used throughout the chapter to apply the design decisions discussed in each lesson.
