Using .Mac e-mail is a lot like using Apple’s Mail application—the icons are the same and the overall logic is similar. After logging in to .Mac (see the previous section), click the Mail link to access your e-mail. You’ll see any messages you have in your Inbox.
Click one of these messages to read it, and then click Reply if you want to reply to the sender. To delete a message, click the Delete icon. You can also file your messages by selecting a folder from the Move Message To pop-up menu.
To create a new message, click the Compose icon. Enter your recipient’s e-mail address and a subject, and then start typing your message. When you’ve finished, click Send to send it.
Note | If you use iSync to synchronize your Address Book contacts to your .Mac account, you’ll be able to use any of these contacts by clicking the Address Book icon. |
The .Mac e-mail interface offers almost as many functions as a stand alone e-mail client program. For more on using .Mac e-mail, see the online .Mac help: click the Help link in the .Mac toolbar at the top of your screen.
