Set Your Skype Preferences

Skype offers a variety of settings and options so you can customize your Skype to suit your habits and needs. Preferences are a host of options, including general operations, privacy, notifications, sound alerts, sound devices, connection options, and voicemail.

By default, the preferences are already set to satisfy most people. You can change your preferences at any time, and you may want to change some preferences beyond the basic settings covered in this section.
