Is Simple Design Essential?

Simple design is essential only if you want to go fast. If you go for a more complex design, you'll not be able to deliver features to the customer as quickly. That would be bad.

The team needs to practice and learn in order to use simple design well we're not asking for stupid design here. But the practice can make the difference between delivering features in months and delivering them every couple of weeks.
