Although Contribute is based on Dreamweaver technology, there are many differences in the use of the two programs. The Contribute user is intentionally restricted from the full operational range enjoyed by users of Dreamweaver. The goal of this first lesson is for you to experience Contribute first-hand. The better you under stand the challenges faced by the average contributor, the better you'll be able to craft your sites to ease those challenges. In this lesson, you explore Contribute as a new user would: establishing a connection, browsing to a page, making edits, and publishing the modified page to a live Web site.
