Working with the Outline Pane

In Chapter 4, "Organizing the Presentation Outline," you learned how to edit a presentation outline using the Outlining toolbar. The following table lists the shortcut keys you can use to make this job easier.

Insert a new slide	Ctrl+M
Demote an outline item	Tab
Promote an outline item	Shift+Tab
Move a paragraph down in the outline	Alt+Shift+Down Arrow
Move a paragraph up in the outline	Alt+Shift+Up Arrow
Show only the title for a selected slide	Alt+Shift+minus sign
Show all of the text for a selected slide	Alt+Shift+plus sign
Collapse an outline to show only the slide titles	Alt+Shift+1
Expand an outline to show all the text on all slides	Alt+Shift+9
