Team FLY

We have looked at the various aspects of distributed system design and the .NET infrastructure for distributed programming. We examined the specific problems that challenge designers of distributed systems and then went through the design process of distributed systems by going through an example application. We created a custom stereotype for modeling .NET Remoting objects and their activation modes. The custom stereotype we created is just the tip of the iceberg. We hope you have fun in creating your own!

In the next chapter we look at the crucially important area of database modeling using Visio, which includes an in-depth look at Object Role Modeling (ORM), reverse engineering a database, and much more besides!
