Although it is expected that enterprises will manage the handoff between providers in different geographic regions for some time, ultimately an interprovider solution is attractive from the enterprise perspective. The provider should answer this question: Are you considering any partnerships with other service providers that would use "peering points" to interconnect IP/VPN clouds? If so, please provide details of the partners, locations where you are considering interprovider exchanges, and an overview of the interprovider IP/VPN implementation (including whether the capabilities discussed here would be supported, such as multicast, routing protocol type and metric preservation, and so on). Please also provide details about the customer engagement for this type of partnership.
