Summary

The VideoApplications class makes it easy to add video streaming to your application, and it does it in such a way that users can interact and seek various subtopics. This class relies on emitted JavaScript code to do the work on the client side. It also relies on Windows 2000 Server to stream the video data to the client machine.

You could easily create an entire training application based on this class. One of my evening classes spent about three weeks creating a training application that included a billing and administrative piece. It was a great learning experience.

You've learned about outputting JavaScript into the HTML stream. You've also learned about how to dynamically alter the attributes of <DIV> tags. And the Windows Media ActiveX control is the focal point of the technology.

I would appreciate it if you would let me know that you used this class (or a derivative). Please e-mail me at Rick@JSVentures.com with your online video presentations.
