Summary

In this chapter we have looked at some traditional programming languages used to write programs to access DB2 data. Every organization has its preferences on which language to use. Each system should be developed in a language that will not inhibit the flexibility and performance of the application programs. In the Chapter 13, "Java Programming," we take a look at a relatively new language that supports DB2: Java.
