Using Word with Other Applications

Word works well with a number of other applications. These programs can expand Word's capabilities:

• OLE objects created with other Microsoft Office applications can be inserted into Word documents.

• Word documents can be inserted into documents created with other Microsoft Office applications.

• Word documents can be e-mailed to others using Entourage.

• Excel lists and Entourage address book information can be used as data sources for a Word data merge.

• Word documents can be included as files in Entourage projects.

This chapter explains how you can use Word with some of these other applications.
