Thanksgiving is the perfect time to express your gratitude to your staff. (That’s why we’re telling you this early…even before Canadian Thanksgiving…so you have time to prepare.)

This year, send a box of chocolates to each employee’s home, along with a note of gratitude. It’s thoughtful. It’s classy. (And it shouldn’t replace your Christmas gift.)

While we’re on the subject, sending a small food gift home once in a while is a nice touch. Who wouldn’t love a fresh strawberry pie or cherry cheesecake delivered to their door in the summer? Little extra touches like these remind employees of your respect and regard—and build the same feelings within the employee for you.
