Optimizing and Exporting the Animation

The final step is to optimize the file so that you can export it at the smallest file size possible and still make it look good. Click on the 4-Up tab in the document window to see the banner with four different optimization settings. You know that you want to use the GIF format for final delivery, so use the Optimize palette to view the banner as a GIF with 265, 128, and 64 colors (see Figure 15.28). Pick the one you like; choose File, Save Optimized As, and you're done!
