ProblemYour external LCD display shows a pop-up message indicating an optimal or preferred display resolution. SolutionUsing a graphical user interface
Using controls on the LCD displayConsult the manual to determine the sequence of steps necessary to access the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) and the selection for controlling the resolution message. DiscussionLCD displays are designed for a minimum or optimal display resolution driven by the video adapter. Although low display resolutions may be visible, the image may appear blurry or blocky at less than optimal resolutions, which can be detected by the electronics in the display unit. The display manufacturer prefers to remind you of this fact through a built-in on-screen message, both to avoid tech support calls and to ensure you get the best image possible from the display.
