Clients on a network have to be able to find each other in order to share information and hardware resources. This requires the correct logical and physical infrastructure. In this chapter, we focus on the logical infrastructure of a Windows Server 2003 network. This includes its IP addressing systems, name resolution services, remote access services, and security features. A sound logical structure is an essential element of all networks.
