There are several different ways you can create new Notes. It's helpful to be aware of all the options so that you can find and use the one most appropriate to the way you use Outlook.
TIP When you drag Outlook items to create Notes, you can drop the text or item on the Note icon at the bottom of the Navigation Pane. You don't need to expand the Notes group or use the folder list.
When you finish creating your Note, close it using the Esc key or Alt+F4. You can also use your mouse and click the X in the right corner of the Note. NOTE Notes created on a PDA and synchronized with Outlook will have a different icon. These Notes have different menu and print dialogs. |
