So far in this book, we've examined a wide variety of the different structural elements of OneNote. You've learned how to create folders to store different types of information, sections to store different categories of information, and pages to store your notes.

This chapter focuses on the most basic element of every page, the note container. A note container is just that a container that holds text that comprises your note. You can have any number of note containers on a page and there are wide varieties of functions you can use on and in note containers.
