There are two ways to get artwork into Flash. One is to copy and paste from another application via the Clipboard. The other is to go to File > Import > Import to Stage (CTRL-R or CMD-R) or Import to Library and locate the file you want to bring in. Which way sounds the best to you? Sure, copying and pasting is much faster, but you can often get unpredictable results.

The best way to get any data into a Flash document is by using the Import command. The artwork is run through a more accurate filtering process, ensures very good results most of the time. I wanted to think of a clever rhyme to help you remember this, but I got nothin', so just read it a few times before moving on.
