Copying objects or frames in Flash is not so hard to begin with, but there is an extremely easy and quick way to do it. If you simply hold down the ALT key on the keyboard (Hold OPT on Mac) while dragging any object or any frame(s), Flash will copy whatever you are dragging to the new location instead of moving it there. You can tell a copy is being made when your cursor changes to display a tiny plus sign (+) next to your pointer.
