Introducing Title Deko

Title Deko is essentially a text editor that creates bitmaps of your text so that you can manipulate them on the Liquid Edition Timeline. If this all sounds a little complicated, don't worry; the majority of this happens in the background. All you need to do is type out the text and decide which design to use. Once you've completed this, Title Deko creates the bitmap for you and Liquid Edition automatically imports it.

Title Deko is a separate application, but it's integrated in such a way that you never really see the join or feel removed from your actual video project. For most editors, using Title Deko is a quick and resourceful way to create titles without having to break the creative flow.

Advantages of Title Deko Pro

Title Deko Pro is an upgrade Pinnacle has made available as a separate purchase or as part of their Productivity Pack. It has many enhanced features, including curved text and textured fonts. In addition, you can type text in any direction and spell-check your title (Figure 10.1).

Once it's installed on your computer, Title Deko Pro replaces the earlier version and responds when you activate the Title function in Liquid Edition. To get further upgrade information, click the Upgrade to TitleDeko Pro button found on the left side of the Title Deko program (Figure 10.2).
