15.4. Action Items

To create effective applications in .NET that take advantage of Visual Studio and the AdWords API web services:

• Use .NET to generate a proxy class to easily access the functionality of the Google web services.

• Understand how to drill down the hierarchy of AdWords objects; for example, using campaign IDs to access AdGroups, and AdGroup IDs to access keywords.

• Expect to implement applications that use the AdWords API across a wide range of AdWords objects.

• Plan to test for specific values in objects within the AdWords hierarchy, such as Keyword text, and take actions (such as replacing that text) when there is a match.
