Button Behaviors


Behavior name

Close

Closes the document.

Exit

Exits (quits) the application that displays the PDF document, such as Adobe Reader.

Go To Anchor

Moves to a predefined destination that can be a text anchor, page, or bookmark. Lets you choose the document, the destination, and the zoom command.

Go To First Page

Moves to the first page of the document. Lets you choose the zoom command.

Go To Last Page

Moves to the last page of the document. Lets you choose the zoom command.

Go To Next Page

Moves to the next page of the document. Lets you choose the zoom command.

Go To Next View

Only available when the Go To Previous View command was active. Then the command moves forward through the views.

Go To Previous Page

Moves to the previous page of the document. Lets you choose the zoom command.

Go To Previous View

Moves to whatever document, page, or zoom view was previously chosen.

Go To URL

Opens a Web page or Web command. Lets you type in the URL.

Movie

Controls the play of a movie. Lets you specify the movie and set the play controls.

Open File

Opens an external file which does not have to be a PDF document. Viewer must have the application that created the file. You must specify the full path to open the file.

Show/Hide Fields

Displays the fields in the document and lets you set them to be hidden or visible by the action of the button.

Sound

Controls the play of a sound clip. Lets you specify the sound and set the play controls.

View Zoom

Lets you change the level of zoom as well as change the layout options such as Continuous and Continuous-Facing.
