Chapter 14. Dressing Up Your Reports

Chapter 14. Dressing Up Your Reports

In this chapter

  • Quickly format a report using AutoFormat

  • Customize your reports by modifying report properties

  • Print labels using the special Label Wizard

  • Add a chart to a report

After storing and manipulating all your data, you might want to print hard copies so you can share the information in a meaningful way with other people. Or, you just might prefer to view your data on paper instead of onscreen. Fortunately, Access provides one of the most flexible and easy-to-use report managers around.

In Chapter 9, "Printing Information with Reports," you learned how to use a few report wizards, but they won't always be adequate. In this chapter, you'll learn how to format reports so they look and display your data the way you want. We'll also review two wizards; one will help you print labels and another displays charts in your reports.
