You’ve come to the end of your project! Before you go out for that celebratory dinner, spend a moment to review this checklist:

• Create a setup program that leaves a good first impression.

• Don’t roll your own setup; use an existing installation creator instead.

• Build and test your setup program as you’re going along.

• Provide a comprehensive but flexible setup program.

• Consider whether nontraditional alternatives, such as XCOPY deployment or no-touch deployment, can work for your application.
