Summary

This concludes this chapter on BizTalk Server 2004 and the four chapters on asynchronous interoperability. This chapter introduced and installed the product and walked you through a sample orchestration that sends and receives messages to and from external Web services. Hopefully, this chapter offered a good introduction to BizTalk Server 2004 and highlighted some of the features of the anticipated final product.

Part IV of the book, which starts with the next chapter, will explore the topic of advanced interoperability. The next chapter will cover interoperability at the presentation tier , what that means, and the potential benefits it can offer.
