This section explains how to configure an LDAP address book. From the address book, the user can perform LDAP lookups on predefined LDAP servers. As an administrator, you have the flexibility of defining additional LDAP servers, thus allowing users to query LDAP-compliant servers for addresses. The GroupWise Windows 32-bit client gives users the ability to define LDAP address books, so this functionality has also been added to the GroupWise WebAccess client. By default, two LDAP servers are created when the WebAccess Application is installed. They are the popular public LDAP servers BigFoot and SwitchBoard. You configure additional LDAP servers through the LDAPProvider object. This object was created when the WebAccess Application was installed. Here you will see the two default LDAP servers. You are presented with a configuration screen that allows you to set up the new LDAP server. When you click the Edit or Add buttons, you'll see the following options:
