Email Alerts From Mon


When Mon sends an email alert about a failed process, it looks like this:

       Subject:  ALERT clusternodes/process-check: localhost:ntpd,ypbind       Summary output        : localhost:ntpd,ypbind       Group                 : clusternodes       Service               : process-check       Time noticed          : <Time and Date>       Secs until next alert :       Members               : localhost       Detailed text (if any) follows:       -------------------------------       localhost:ntpd Count=0 Min=0 Max=0       localhost:ypbind Count=0 Min=0 Max=0 

The status summary is placed in the subject line of the email, and the status detail is included in the body of the message. This example shows Mon alerting you that ypbind and ntpd are not running on the localhost (the machine Mon is running on).
