Using One Step Photo Fix

Paint Shop Pro has long included numerous features to enhance photographs. The problem was, you needed to know what you needed to change, and most of us amateurs didn't have a clue how to fix what was wrong with the image. New, however, to Paint Shop Pro 8 is a One Step Photo Fix that, with a single click of a mouse, does a magnificent job of enhancing your photographs. You don't need to be a photographic expert to use this feature; Paint Shop Pro calculates all the needed requirements.

In this example, the child's face is dark and overpowered by the white snow in the background.

NOTE

If you don't have the Photo toolbar displayed, click on the View menu, and choose Photo from the Toolbars submenu.

During the process, Paint Shop Pro will adjust the color balance, contrast, clarity, saturation, edge preservation, and sharpness.

NOTE

You might want to run the One Step Photo Fix a second time to adjust the photograph even more.
