Creating Seamless Background Tiles

Web browsers take the background images and automatically replicate them in a tiled pattern so that they fill an entire page. If your Web page background is a single color that has no texture or pattern, you won't be able to see where your tile starts and begins. With patterns and textures, however, sometimes you can see where one square ends and the next one starts. Paint Shop Pro includes a feature to assist in creating a seamless tile effect.

You need to merge all layers in the background tile before you can achieve good results with the Seamless Tiling effect.

Notice the striping effect from the original textured tile.
