Before you can modify a vector object, the object(s) must be selected. Only objects on the active layer can be selected at any one time. You cannot select objects that exist on different layers at the same time.
Paint Shop Pro provides a tool called the Object Selector for working with vector objects. The Object Selector is available only when the current active layer is a vector layer.
Use the Object Selector to choose which objects you want selected.
NOTE
Hold down the Shift key and click to select additional objects (the mouse pointer will display a plus sign), or hold down the Ctrl key and click to deselect objects (the mouse pointer will display a minus sign).
Another method of selecting objects with the Object Selector tool is to draw a boundary box around the objects you want to select. Paint Shop Pro selects all objects that are completely surrounded by the boundary box.
An optional method to select objects is from the Layer palette.
NOTE
If you can't see the objects, click on the plus sign next to the layer name . The layer will expand to display all objects.
To deselect objects, choose Selections, Select None.
