Summary

The Purchase Management application uses the XML document object to read and write the XML files. Purchase orders are sent to and received from the suppliers in XML format. This format is read by the application and saved in the database. The application also uses file-manipulation functions to read, write, and move the XML files. Since data is stored in the SQL server database, the application can interact with the database to fetch and insert data.
