In Part Three, we'll look at some other technologies you can use today in your distributed applications. We'll examine how the COM Transaction Integrator (COMTI) can be used to connect MTS applications with IBM mainframe applications using the Customer Information Control System (CICS) or Information Management Systems (IMS). We'll also look at how to use Microsoft Message Queue Server (MSMQ) to build time-independent three-tier applications. And we'll take a look into the future, examining the features planned for the initial release of COM+.
