About the Tech Editors

Brett Rampata is the Chief Technical Officer at digitalorganism. After earning a BA in imaging and digital arts from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Brett was hired as a lead designer by Infoimage, a Dallas-based Web application company. Following his Texas stint, he returned to Baltimore to work as a senior designer at a multimedia design company. During this time, Brett cofounded digitalorganism (Digital Organism, LLC) in May of 2000. In the past year, digitalorganism's corporate site earned Macromedia's Site of the Day, received two nominations for the London Flash Film Festival, and won the local and regional ADDY Awards.

Todd Marks is the Director of Research and Development at digitalorganism. Upon graduation from Loyola College with a BS in mathematics, Todd entered the public realm teaching mathematics and computer science. In July of 2000, Todd jumped ship from the public sector and joined forces with Brett and Walt Rampata to fill in the left-brained activity at digitalorganism. Todd has worked extensively with Flash ActionScript, PHP, and Lingo, placing cutting-edge code in a number of projects, including digitalorganism's showcase site.
