Summary

Printing Flash content is easy to do with the Print command in the Flash Player pop-up menu and the Print action. Although you don't have a lot of control over the Print command, when you use the Print action, you have much greater control over what actually gets printed from a movie. Not only can you disable printing from the Flash pop-up menu entirely, but also you can specify which timeline to print and how it should be printed (vectors or bitmap). You also have the option of printing specific frames and hidden content. This is an excellent option for banner ads in which you print an entire page of information about a product by clicking a button. Using the Print action, you also have control over the print area and layout of your printable content.
