6.7 Further Reading

The basic topic of exceptions can be found in any basic Java text book (see, for example, [DEI02] or [LEW03]). Most books that are study aids for the Java Certified Programmer Exam (such as [HEL99]) contain very good sections on exceptions. Eckel [ECK98] presents a more in-depth view of exceptions as well as giving anomalies that can occur when using them. Finally, a number of Web sites contain tutorials on using exceptions (see, for example, [VEN98]).
