Now that you've created your movie, the next step is, of course, to show it! The Publish Movie Wizard helps you figure out how to distribute your movie and what settings you should use.
Publish It
With Windows Movie Maker running, the project open, and your movie completed, click the Publish Movie button to start the Publish Movie Wizard.
To specify the way you want to publish the movie, choose one of the following:
This Computer to specify the file name, location, video compression, and type of video format, and to publish the video file to your computer
DVD to start Windows DVD Maker and create a DVD
Recordable CD to name the file and the CD, and to record the movie in DV-AVI or Windows Media format to a CD
E-Mail to create a file in Windows Media format small enough to fit into an e-mail, and to attach the file to an e-mail message
Digital Video Camera to upload the movie in the DV-AVI format to your digital video camera
Click Next, and step through the wizard to publish your movie.
Tip
To change the video format (NTSC or PAL), the aspect ratio for screen dimensions, and the maximum size of an e-mailed video, choose Options from the Tools menu, and make your changes on the Advanced tab of the Options dialog box.
