Starting Word

Before you can begin using Word, you need to start the program. The easiest way to start Word is to use the Start menu, which you open by clicking the Start button on the taskbar. When Word starts, it displays a blank document so that you can begin working immediately.

Start Word

Click the Start button on the task bar.

Point to All Programs, and then point to Microsoft Office.

Click on Microsoft Office Word 2003. A blank document opens.
