To increase profits quickly, in the short-run, we could lay off all of the people hired to generate ideas, as they are generally creating ideas for the future. Unfortunately, in regard to profits, this is a losing strategy in the long run. It is also a poor short-term strategy in terms of reducing expenses. It is best to think in terms of long-range profits, but even in this area precaution must be taken. Again, high-risk opportunities arise as potentially profitable. I would once more advise against indulging in these, as such high risk strategies often have low percentages of possible success.
